McHugh/Gant
Hangar House

Inside of the House

The old house had three levels: lower (one bedroom, one bath), main (dining, kitchen, living, bath, office), and upper (2 bedrooms and bath)

You have walked through the front door and through the dining room (I don't have a pic from the front door.)

The next two pictures are from the back of the dining room looking back to the front door.

In the photo on the right, the door that you see with the inlaid glass is to a real funky room (below) that we don't know why they built. The floor in the new room in about 6" higher than the dining room floor You can see the original roof line on the right wall.

Turning around and looking to the back of the house, is the living room--left photo. First thing that we need to do is paint this room a light color and replace the 1970s carpet.

The photo on the right is shooting from the back door to the front. You see the living room and dining room. The front door is open.

From the same position as the previous left photo, and turning to the north is the kitchen (don't laugh, it is VERY small.) This is the big remodel job. We are thinking of breaking the kitchen into the unfinished new room. Not sure, need to get a contractor in there.

Also in this picture, you can see the bath room and around the corner from the bath is the office.

Now to bedroom #3 downstairs.... You can see the stairs in the office, on the left past the bookshelf.

The left photo is a shot from inside the office looking back to the hallway and the bathroom on the right. The photo on the right is from the office door looking at the doors out to the back deck.
