Hangar House

January 28, 2007

Sunday - We drove up to HangarHouse Friday evening after work. It was raining in the Bay Area, but the weekend in Trinity was clear and crisp.

The weekend project was assembling the Inova TableBed for the hobby room. The bed came in 7 shipping boxes and a manual with 17 steps and a lot of wood dowels and pins. Not a difficult project. We spent Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning getting it all done...

The cats have officially settled into their new home. Both Tigger and Cricket have figured out the cat door, are wandering our lot and the neighbors', and can find their way back inside the house...

The painters were up this weekend--Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Friday--finishing the inside. The front door, front columns, and pool bath cabinets are all faux painted. All the touchup work is done. Greg told us that they would be the last subs to walk out of our house :-) The paint job is wonderful. Now we need a *few* pieces of furniture.

Beebee's Water Systems' techs were also up this week performing the first maintenance on the water treatment system.

It hasn't rain more than .25" since we were up here over New Years. You can really tell that there is a lack of water. The lake is only at 74% full. Last year at this time the lake was 85% full. We hope it does a lot of raining the next three months.

Sunday evening, Kelli burned all the shipping material...

We drove back Monday morning, leaving at 4:30 a.m. to make Mike's 1:00 p.m. meeting in San Jose and Kelli's 2:00 p.m. meeting in Campbell. Hopefully we can fly next weekend.
