Hangar House

Day 518 - End of an Era

Friday, December 8 - As finish work continued on our final projects, Kelli completed our move into HangarHouse and packed up her files, paperwork, books, taxes, corporate records for her official move back down to the Bay Area full time. She has been living full-time in Trinity Center for the last 19 months.

Cricket is getting comfortable with the new house...

Dave installed the mirror in the first floor bathroom...

John had the horrible job of using a hand "jack hammer" to make the master shower pan flat again. This project took all day and sent concrete dust everywhere. Some closed doors and open windows helped to stop the dust spread into the bedroom.

At the end of the day, Dave and John tested a layout pattern...

Rick installed the water drain (DI) on the north side of the driveway...

Dave did the final connection of the downspouts in anticipation of a raining couple of weeks...

One of Dave's "to do's from the deck project was to install "L" brackets at the railing corners. That got done today...

Here is a picture of the spiral stair side railings that we waited so long for...

We had a nice weather day, so here are some pictures before we really get winter weather. The first couple of pictures are of the painting that was done to the exposed metal on the south wall.

Kelli left Trinity Center at 4:30 p.m.

Next week  the guys will complete the shower tile, finish installing the pencil bar tile under the office window sill (Ken picked up the extra tile today,) oversee the exchange of the master bed box springs, and finish the metal skin on the inside of the hangar door (Ken's step dad brought the panels over from Eureka on Wednesday,) to name a few tasks.

Cricket "at home" back in the condo. We are hoping to make it up to Hangar House twice a month and over the holidays...
