Day 498 - or Day 1 A.F.

Friday, November 3 -- Day 1 After Final (AF) felt like the past 497 days. Some good progress, and a minor redo or two.

The painters worked inside and outside (between rain drops) to get some more trim painted, started putting a final coat on the foyer and staircase in a heavy stipple texture to help hide the drywall problems, and did repair work to the closet door casing after we had to remove trim that would have never worked with our size of bi-fold door panels and hardware.

It is amazing how paint can do to make a house look finished...

They also took down the scaffolding, so here are new pictures of the wood stove...

Dave installed the guest bathroom mirror and light fixture. This is the last wall mounted light fixture to be installed...

John made a little progress on the backsplash before leaving early for the day.

Kelli had to make a trip into Weaverville so she was gone from 9:30 to 1:30.

Rainy day pictures from upstairs...
