Day 495 - Irrigation

Tuesday, October 31 -- Dave and Rick built our first sprinkler/irrigation valve set today. Dave tested each valve and cleaned out the lines, before leaving early. Now we need plants :-)

Kelli and Rick moved some soil in along the sidewalk...

Rick started work on the south drain inlet. I think that there is a slope problem that we need to figure that out since the low spot is lower than the tee to the main drain pipe...

Kelli finished building the stone border along our street-side property line. Dave used the skid loader to level out the area. We will fill in from the rocks to the street with 5/8" crushed rock. Kelli also found two largish pieces of flagstone left over from the front stairs and set them in the gravel stoops...

John continued with the kitchen backsplash...

Kelli got the floor tile ready for our wood stove installation tomorrow; and sealed the base slab with enhancer...

The tile medallion installers came up today to replace 6 "point" pieces that they grouted in incorrectly.

A neighbor leaving after flying in for the day...

Happy Halloween. Kelli had about 28 Trick-or-Treaters tonight. About the entire student body count of Trinity Center and Coffee Creek elementary schools combined.
