Day 494 - Painters Return

Monday, October 30 -- Gary and crew returned to put the finishing touches on the inside and outside of the house. They will be here for about a week and a half.

Dave and Rick started prepping the driveway for a concrete apron (yes, another concrete pour.) They spread out the mountain of base rock and worked on the grade...

They then started work on our irrigation system valve assembly...

We are working on outside projects since there is a forecast of rain on Wednesday--depending on which report you listen to.

John started work on the kitchen backsplash. We are having him do the hardest part first. This is an area that the painters need to paint around before they leave...

Kelli and crew moved the wood stove base slab into the house this morning. Then Kelli and Mike made templates and tried out different locations for the stove. The wood stove is the last "to fix" item on our final inspection list...
