Day 462 - Grab Bag
Thursday, September 14 -- We
all worked around the house today doing a task here, another task there,
and then picking up another unrelated task. So, many small things got
done.
Dave and Rick removed the spiral stair slab forms and installed the
scratch coat behind the slab. Dave moved on to work on deck lights
and appliance wiring. Rick sanded the underlayment in the exercise
room...

John started by building out the stair edge in the foyer so that we
can start tile, filled nail holes in the garage stair trim, and planned
the exercise room tile layout. To name a few things...

Kelli sealed the master bathroom counter slab, shower tile, and pool
room counter slab, oiled the laundry room soapstone, installed touch
latches on the spa tub access panels, chipped more tile grout, and
paint primed the garage and hangar stair risers...

Ken went to Medford to get the correct attachment for the tractor
auger (to dig our safety fence post holes), get the fence post blocks,
pick up our Ipe deck railing caps and garage stair lumber, and hit
Lowe's for a list of supplies.
We had a very windy day. The north wind blew the smoke away. The winds
calmed down about 4:00 p.m. and the smoked started to move back in...
