Day 462 - Grab Bag

Thursday, September 14 -- We all worked around the house today doing a task here, another task there, and then picking up another unrelated task. So, many small things got done.

Dave and Rick removed the spiral stair slab forms and installed the scratch coat behind the slab. Dave moved on to work on deck lights and appliance wiring. Rick sanded the underlayment in the exercise room...

John started by building out the stair edge in the foyer so that we can start tile, filled nail holes in the garage stair trim, and planned the exercise room tile layout. To name a few things...

Kelli sealed the master bathroom counter slab, shower tile, and pool room counter slab, oiled the laundry room soapstone, installed touch latches on the spa tub access panels, chipped more tile grout, and paint primed the garage and hangar stair risers...

Ken went to Medford to get the correct attachment for the tractor auger (to dig our safety fence post holes), get the fence post blocks, pick up our Ipe deck railing caps and garage stair lumber, and hit Lowe's for a list of supplies.

We had a very windy day. The north wind blew the smoke away. The winds calmed down about 4:00 p.m. and the smoked started to move back in...
