Day 457 - Compass Rose Final

Thursday, September 7 -- Bill and Dave came up to grout in the compass rose this morning. It looks very nice. (Sorry for the lighting in the pictures, Kelli waited too long to take today's pictures and the sun was coming through the front door.)

Dave and Rick continued on the deck. The long run and south boards are down. We are not sure how the deck lights get pulled through. We will get an answer from Dave tomorrow.

We had to add another layer of flashing on the front edge of the deck because the planks are shimmed up so high...

John did a bunch of things: prepped the hangar landing for composite tile tomorrow, sanded most of the exercise room floor for composite tile, and got ready to start laying the remained of the first floor tile. Here is the hangar landing...

The reason for the late pictures is because Kelli spent most of the day chipping the grout out of the master bath shower floor :-( The grout was put in very uneven and the only way to fix this is to take out all the grout and redo it. This will take several weeks...
