Day 449 - Counters Final

Friday, August 25 -- Larry, from Pacific Crest Granite, came by to finish the kitchen soapstone installation around the wok and drill holes for the faucets...

All the cabinet slab work is done!

John continued working on the interior stairs. Here are pictures of some of mahogany. The long piece in the first picture is the cap for the short wall in the office. The wood "strips" in the last picture are sides of the stair landing post covers. The smaller mahogany pickets in the first picture get placed into the strips...

Our John continued with the soapstone tile in the laundry room...

Our plumber cancelled on us today and should be here on Monday. This gave us an extra day to finish the laundry room.

Dave finished installing a faux column to the left of the front door to balance the middle column...

And, he reinstalled the soffit board under the master deck. So the exterior is ready for final paint and faux finishes.

At 5:00 p.m., Kelli was off to the Bay Area for the weekend. Today she finished sealing the tile in the guest bathroom shower.
