Day 446 - Laundry tile
Tuesday, August 22 -- We started a new project today - the laundry room tile counters. John started about noon installing the soapstone tile. We need to get the laundry sink in before Friday when Richard comes up to work on the final plumbing...
Oh.. my. More shimming. Dave and Rick are having to shim the deck stair landing boards to level them with the uneven/high beam flashing. Of course, raising the landing boards makes the top riser higher than the rest, so, we have to unscrew the next two threads, shim them a little to even out the riser heights...
The front picture frame boards got cut long and set into place. We will let these board expand and contract for awhile before cutting them...
