Day 431 - Whoosh

Tuesday , August 1 -- Ugh! It is August. No July final inspection. Kelli has a poster from her high tech days that is perfect -- "I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise that they make as they go by." (Douglas Adams, author of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy)

This morning started out at a cool 54 degrees and smoke.

Dave installed the front stair step light transformer before we moved on to the deck. Dave and Kelli put down 12 more boards. We were stopped because there is some electrical work to be done under the decking before we can move on...

Pete and John worked on the hangar face...

Ken and Gary continued repainting the house after drywall fixes. The house is returning to its original glory...

Look ma, no shoes on the bamboo floor...

Dave hung the laundry landing light and started installing one of the rows of lights in Mike's closet...

Kelli used the fiber cement siding cleaner to remove the salt leaching on several runs of boards on the entire north side of the garage, and blew and vacuumed the deck.

Mid-day smoke... The Junction fire is 90% contained and CDF is dispersing equipment, but there are still 5 more fires in the area.
