Day 414 - Ding Dong

Friday , July 7 -- Here is a quick update on the progress over the 4th of July holiday...

Dave installed our door bell :-) This doesn't sound like much (no pun intended,) but hearing the chime makes the place feel like a home, not a cabin in the woods...

Stonework continued. The front is looking great...

Pete doing the artsy thing...

Dave worked on the wiring for the deck...

Dave also worked on building boxes for some exterior light fixtures before stone is set...

Mike and Dave trouble-shot a couple of 3 and 4-way light switches that were not working...

A picture of the turret windows open...

We arrived in Trinity Center from Chicago yesterday afternoon after an 11-hour flight. We took off for the Bay Area this afternoon about 6 p.m. Mike will work on the plane this weekend and Kelli has a new class of sailing students.

Next week should be busy. If all goes well, we should have air conditioners installed, the water filtration system installed, interior stair sketches, the cabinet maker up for a final survey and list of tasks, and maybe painters, gutters, and hangar door interior sheathing.
